Trump On Bullying Ford-"Doesn't Matter, We Won"

newtboy says...

Merrimack Garland was often right leaning and above reproach, and in your words, "his entire life was ruined" by dickheaded obstructionist republicans that wouldn't allow the unAmerican Muslim black activist to impact the supreme court if they could obstruct it, only they get to do that in their favor by any underhanded means necessary. Recall, they were proud of their pure obstructionist position from day one of Obama, pretty infantile to complain now that Trump doesn't get cooperation with his disastrous hyper partisan divisive plans and nominations.

Really, no republican argued against them? Sotomayor 68-31, Kagen 63-37, barely confirmed with 3 votes to spare, that's not no republican argument, and not confirmed with ease. You are such a blatant revisionist or so authoritatively ignorant it's astonishing and makes any discussion a chore, requiring I teach you actual history before replying to your always incorrect claims. Try googling before spouting more easily debunked nonsense, have some pride. Only trolls don't care that 98% of their claims are dead wrong and easily proven so.

Merrick Garland was sidelined due to political blocking. Politics is mean and he lost. If it was a like for like (Sotomayor , Kagan) no one would argue and no Republican did. Republican let these go to the SCOTUS with ease.

Kavanaugh replaced a moderate ( Kennedy ), which tilts the supreme court to the right for once in a long time.

Next might be Ginsburg. At 85 and looking frail. A hard liberal stepping down and being replace by a moderate would make replacing Kavanaugh look G rated.

Replacing with a conservative would be an XXX storm by the left.

Trump On Bullying Ford-"Doesn't Matter, We Won"

newtboy says...

Oh, you have a good point, I mean let's look back at how low and devisively hyper liberal the last nomination was.....oh yeah, Merrick Garland, not a bit.
Sorry, you reflexively spouted more divisive partisan bullshit, again. Your team is the ridiculous adolescently vindictive team wholly uninterested in bipartisan governing.

How low will the Democrats for for the next SCOTUS pick?

Brett Kavanaugh Is a Terrible Judge & a Liar...

newtboy says...

Not confirming her testimony is not the same as refuting it. You can grasp that concept, I assume, or is that beyond you?

You read the report?! I had no idea you were a senator, the only ones who ever get to see it so they can safely lie about what's in it.

You are the one spouting 1/2 truths and pure emotional bullshit.

Towing the Trumpian lie(n) without a shred of fact to back it up, as usual. That's absolutely ridiculous bullshit fantasy, she didn't knowingly destroy her own life over mistaken identity. She is 100% clear on that point.

bobknight33 said:

You live in a delusion world Newt.

No one confirms her testimony Nor any of the other 2.
The FBI report also confirms the same.

Quit listening to hearsay or emotion, Just facts.

Was Ford truthful -- something happened to her but not with Kavanaugh.

McCain defending Obama 2008

MilkmanDan says...

I appreciate your response to my question earlier, @bobknight33.

I don't mean to try to drag you back into the thread here if you're trying to disengage -- I dunno what you mean by #walkaway. Anyway, this doesn't require a response.

I largely agree with you on the specific subtopic of both parties being pretty dirty and frequently engaging in "government theater" just to draw attention to trivialities while promoting their own self interests. I also largely agree with Trump being a "true outsider" in the sense that he holds no particular allegiance to party machinations, etc.

However, even though I was willing to give him a chance after the election, at this point I have zero trust in Trump's intentions. Trumps friends -- the "best people" -- have this interesting trend of becoming his detractors and enemies. Trump wants us to accept the word of people that vouch for him, but days, weeks, or months later they fall out of favor and suddenly he says that they are scum and we shouldn't listen to a word they say.

That's a "cry wolf" or "fool me once" sort of problem. Sessions, the guy you mentioned as protecting Trump from the "witch hunt", has been pretty relentlessly bashed by Trump for the weighty offense of allowing investigators to investigate. Giuliani spouts nonsense, doublespeak and contradictions. Huckabee-Sanders refuses to answer very basic questions from the press (which is her job) not because they misquote her or take things out of context (which would be legitimate gripes) but because she's been bitten in the ass a few too many times by people pointing out blatant contradictions in Trump's statements. And that's just the current people.
There's a large list of short-term Trump appointments that end up out of favor.

What all that stuff says to me is ... "something is rotten in the state of Denmark". Is it possible that there's a vast conspiracy against him in the media, justice department, etc.? Um, well, maybe -- but Occam's Razor tells me that other possibilities are rather more likely. Like, for example, that Trump being a "true outsider" doesn't preclude him from holding the same self-serving motivations that are unfortunately common in slimy career politicians. That he acts shady and dirty because he is shady and dirty.

I dunno. It just seems like it takes a lot of work to keep up with Trump's revolving door of steadfast allies that become traitorous enemies.

'I can think of nothing more American': Beto O’Rourke

newtboy says...

That's just, like, your opinion, man. ;-)

Anyone sharing the opinion that they are protesting the flag, anthem, or America got that idea directly (or by proxy) from Trump who spouted that vitriolic lie from day one, and they were all duped by him. Sorry, that's simply fact.

I've seen plenty of interviews with active military who said the right to protest is a large part of what they serve to protect.

You should maybe talk to veterans instead of standing on what you believe they think (with no evidence). They take a knee for flag draped fallen comrades themselves, as a sign of respect.
I cannot understand anyone who's taught proper flag etiquette disagreeing with other people following proper flag etiquette.

It's far more disrespectful to wear the flag as clothing, but I would bet 1/4 of those complaining have worn the flag as underwear, wiping their shit soiled asses on and pissing on it directly, but they think kneeling is disrespectful? Come on, you must admit that's moronic.

Honorable knowledgeable veterans don't think that....they know better.

Yes, if you ignore all your training, written flag rules/etiquette, common sense, national identity, and the clear, unambiguous words describing the intents of the protesters in favor of politically motivated divisive rabble rousing from consummate liars, that's definitely unreasonable...yes.

bcglorf said:

Then IMO your deeply disrespecting the opinions of a lot of veterans. Just because Trump happens to hold a strong opinion doesn't automatically negate it. Neither does anyone sharing that opinion automatically become duped by him or some kind of protege.

There are veterans working hard to make ends meet watching guys being paid millions of dollars to play football refusing to stand for the national anthem. I don't accept that every single veteran either accepts the gesture entirely, or is a racist Trump duped evil human being. I believe there are veterans that view standing for the anthem as a sign of respect for the country and fallen comrades, and I can understand many of those people disagreeing with the gesture and wishing they'd make their protest in another way than what is to the veterans, disrespect for their country and veterans. It doesn't make them 'right' but it hardly makes them unreasonable either, no?

Meet The Trump Fans Of Q-Anon

ChaosEngine says...

This is the paradox of modern politics.

These people are fucking morons of the highest order. They're poorly educated idiots spouting complete nonsense that has zero basis in reality.

In a sane world, we'd ignore them as lunatic outliers. They're not new; they've been here forever, they just change the nonsense.

The problem is that we now live in a world where the most powerful man in the world actively encourages these people, if not explicitly, then at least implicitly with his own brand of deranged paranoia.

The fundamental issue is that internet is great at connecting people, and it doesn't discriminate between connecting Bronies, small-town homosexuals, fans of William Shatner's music, political dissidents in oppressed countries or people who indulge in insane conspiracy theories.

There's no putting that technological genie back in the bottle (and even if we could, the cost would be too great IMO).

So what to do about that?

If we ignore them, they thrive underground and if we give them "airtime" their ranks are bolstered.

I really don't have an answer for this.

Rick Wiles Says 'Every Christian Should Disavow Alex Jones'

newtboy says...

Absolutely not.
Jones Jones is a lunatic who spouts pure insanity, and your chosen president believes the nonsense is news. Your ridiculous equivocation is absolutely insane.

You aren't the only conservative voice here, but you are a minority.

Your admitted fraud, pedophile (miss teen America), pedophile supporting (Roy Brown), incestuous (daughter lusting), adulterous (with his friend's wives), consummate liar, political flip flopping (see any interviews before 2000), Russian stooge, ally debasing, repeatedly failed businessman has debased American values, and your ilk have gone along hand in hand, erasing those values from your mind as he violated them.

Open borders exist only in Trump's deluded lies he sells you to get you riled up and unthinking. No one in power advocates open borders, that's just a bold faced lie. Your willingness to repeat it only demonstrates your gullibility and naivete.

bobknight33 said:

CNN is unhinged just like MSNBC. Each wacked. Like Jones Jones is just more theatrical.

You bet. I use You people. Since there is no conservative voice here. It’s me against you people. The lost degenerate soles who desires are to debace America values and dilute its citizenship with open borders.

Trump wants all to be proud.

Rick Wiles Says 'Every Christian Should Disavow Alex Jones'

newtboy says...

No, shit spreaders like Jones exist because people like you and Trump exist and listen to and defend him, spreading his bat shit crazy nonsense without ever examining it. He is one of 3 sources for information Trump said he uses and believes over intelligence reports that he doesn't even read.

CNN is NOTHING like Jones, or even Fox...there is NO left wing equivalent to this brand of insanity...the fish people, demons, pedopizzaphiles, GAY FROGS.
You're grasping at phantoms again.

He, and a dozen other right wing icons, are trolling you for money, he's admitted it in court as have others.
The right wing is just too plain stupid and angry to grasp that when he says clearly in court that he's playing a character, like Colbert on crack, it means that they shouldn't put stock in the insanity he spouts because he doesn't believe it himself and he's laughing all the way to the bank at the hateful idiots that do.

bobknight33 said:

Michael Jackson - Billie Jean ( cover by Donald Trump )

newtboy says...

Yeah, I know, facts are for lefty liberals. Don't suppose you can point to 3 mistakes Snopes has made, or any they didn't correct, can you? (Not conservative nonsense opinion, factual mistakes.)

Who told you that? They dropped >10% in one day because their earnings reports came out, and we're dismal (because they're reeling from Russian incursions on both platforms costing them billions to finally address), as were future projected earnings....not because they finally started blocking identified Russian conservative trolls.

For someone claiming to not be on FB or Twitter you have a track record of spreading the nonsense they both spout, often on the day these conservative Twitter/Facebook campaigns begin. You're pretty in the loop to be outside it.

Question....what is your Cheeto in chief doing to stop the Russians from interfering again this time, seeing as they've already been caught trying to hack American companies, organizations, government officials, and voting machines this year? Nothing yet, nada, according to the heads of the departments that should be spearheading our efforts. No direction at all from the Whitehouse on this issue, only constant public contradiction of their findings with no basis for that contradiction.

bobknight33 said:

And I use snopes as the fact check. That like letting Russia do our Election vote count.

FYI. I don’t twitter not FB.

FYI FB stock dropped 20% This week. When the report came out that they blocked conservative. By 93%. But any leftist lie is ok.

Trump and Putin -- A Love Story. Trump Does Bite

newtboy says...

Liar.
He said this specific indictment contains no evidence of administration involvement, that's a far cry from a statement that there was none. Every time you lie this way it's exactly the same as admitting you know your arguments are failures minus the honor of being truthful.

They have been consistently clear that the FBI won't decide if or how Russian interference influenced the election, that's not their job, but it's clear that was and is the intent, and Putin isn't known for spinning his wheels. You still spout Russian made slogans and theories constantly, it influenced you immensely.

The intelligence community under Obama didn't do nothing, but I agree they didn't do enough. They absolutely should have said Trump was under investigation for working with our enemies to subvert government processes when they publicly reopened the Clinton investigation over emails that contained nothing.
Trump's intelligence community has apparently actually done nothing, nor has Trump besides encourage Putin to do it again by standing with him against America's interests time and time again and by hinting another free pass with no resistance can be expected this election.

This all occurred under OBAMA administration. Obama administration and did nothing. Sill Rodinstine when he came out last week about teh 12 Russians also noted NO American involvement and Zero influence in the outcome of the election.

Leftists Will Carry Out Targeted Killings Of Republicans

newtboy says...

I'll bet $100 that the first political murder we see this cycle will be a Trump nut killing someone they decide is a dangerous lefty....and another $100 the right will shrink from it by saying he's a lone wolf crazy person and not a real Republican following the talking points to their logical conclusions.....oh wait, that already happened in Charlottesville, where's my $200?

I guess they learned nothing from pizza gate, and why would they, it didn't hurt them a bit when one of their own attacked a pizza parlor full of kids with his rifle looking for Clinton to kill because they told him she was there selling child sex slaves.
Jubus Fucking Christ. They're actually trying to start a civil war spouting this bullshit to impressionable morons with guns and hatred, and they know it. If you're politically left of Reagan, buy some guns, you just might need them soon.
*promote exposing the thinly veiled call for civil war if Republicans lose control.

Racist People are mad at The Black Panther ...

newtboy says...

Sorry, bud, but black people (and other minorities, and women) have often complained, rightly so, about under representation and total exclusion from movies, tv shows, availability of positive rolls, etc.
Saying he's never heard that complaint is 100% unbelievable, and I call b.s.....he's doing it himself to an extent in this video. I was ready to upvote until he spouted that nonsense.

White people complaining about that is patently ridiculous.

John Cleese On Trump's Base

newtboy says...

If that's your position, it's pretty damn stupid and blatantly hypocritical to then complain the other side lies almost 1/10 as much as your people....those untrustworthy lying monsters.
*facepalm

No, Bob, I don't watch CNN, not that there's anything wrong with watching them. They're infinitely more reputable than Breitbart, Fox, Glen Beck, reddit, RT, or Trump....your sources.

Triumphant Trump tax plan....ok, for him it is, granted, not us....but that's lost on you, like most reality. If video of him raping his daughter when she was 16 came out, you would say of course he had sex with her, she's hot, and he's a real man. It's impossible for you to admit he's less than perfect for some pathological reason, and it puts you in the position of spouting nonsense like that and defending the indefensible, often the exact things you complain about until he does them....like lie.

bobknight33 said:

Politicians are allowed to lie -YEP I stated that FACT. Dems do it Rup do it. - The do it all the time . Its not right but they do it.

Republicans did a great thing despite bitch and moan Democrats and squeezed through his TRIUMPHANT Trump tax plan.

You must watch too much CNN ,, you that shit hole media outlet.
