well, i tried something and this could be it... i've always had noScript block google-analytics. i unblocked it when i became a charter member, just cause. i dunno... but the site became so excruciatingly slow that it took more than mere seconds to load the page, let alone a video. i blocked it again, and viola, it's back to good ol' speedy VS.
i can't say that it's the entire problem, nor really the problem at all. i hate to somewhat promote the blocking of a service that VS uses (presumably to track traffic on the site), but it sure sped things up for me.

It took long enough. I guess free Iraq does not have a speedy trial provision on the books yet.

But this is a good day for Iraq. Saddam should have been shot in the spider hole. The timing of the sentencing is . . .um . . .interesting.

Every once in a while I find voting slow, but at the moment, I find it quite speedy. As James mentioned - please record your experience in the poll on Sift Talk.

i saw a nice, small, wireless, color security cam, reciever and monitor at wal-mart and target yesterday. the smooth and speedy movement of the camera mount is the best part.

The only reason they would do this now is for political motives. Many politicians are opposed to holding these accused criminals with no due process and no gaurantee of a fair and speedy trial in Cuba.

Now Bush's allies have the argument that there are some people actually associated with 9/11 that are being held there, and not just possible suicide bombers, or whatever. I can guarantee in the next election that this will be used as an easy to understand hillbilly defense for why Guantanamo is operated how it is... we got a couple of the monsters who helped orchestrate 9/11 in there, and we don't want to have to treat them like humans.


Using fear and war as political tools has become par for the course with this administration, and half of Americans are too scared to realize how strange that is.

Wait until Congress passes their anti-Net Neutrality crap. Then you'll see a slow YouTube. Of course, you can always go over to Yahoo Videos and get speedy results. Don't worry, the internet will forget about YouTube in about two months.

I only heard him say one thing vaguely racist, when he claimed that all people who wear dreadlocks need to be watched by sheriff's deputies (at about 0:57). I was much more offended starting about 1:24, when he claims that defense attorneys are evil people who need to be ridden out of town on a rail. After all, if a sheriff arrests them, they must be guilty, so anything that gets in the way of a speedy trial and 100% guilty verdicts must be evil, right?

What is even more amazing than her obvious genius is her hand-eye coordination. Children are not fully myelinized until about ten and generally do not have the speedy nerve response necessary for such quick and accurate muscle control.

I liked it! And I have no idea who these guys are. I thought it was funny - just not in a "I just shit my pants/hit my face on a concrete wall/pranked the Speedy Stop janitor kind of way.
