How To Get The Best Parking Spot At A Mall
>> ^longde:
Is exposing oneself and others to high risk being eia? Or only having the consequences of recklessness happen?
Is playing russian roulette eia, if you don't get shot?
No, when someone stupid survives doing something stupid, that is a case of evolution neglecting to act.

Don't spoil games for others, even if it's Russian Roulette

A tad dark
That's a hell of an understatement. This is just fxxked up.
Videogamer Kills Burglar With His Samurai Sword
I'm sorry, but isn't that an inherent danger of a burglar. It's like Russian roulette; it's just a matter of time before someone fights back. Very few people in this world deserve to die but lets face it, he put himself in that position. It's not like he was just walking down the street and accidentally fell into the guy’s garage.
I feel bad for anyone who looses a family member, but the sister can't blame the victim.
Acura NSX Submarine
It may be rear wheel drive, but certainly the entire interior has suffered water damage. Also, despite it being rear wheel drive, I can't imagine where the air intake is for that car so that it isn't getting flooded.
Also it seems like such a stupid thing to do, I know exactly where and how high up my car's air intake is, and there is noway I would play russian roulette with a deep pool of water. Not to mention my car is worth fractions of what his. Can't someone driving an NSX afford to get their car towed home...well i suppose they can afford any repairs from getting their engine flooded with water.
Warning: Do NOT Volunteer to be Cameraman at the Bullfight
I bet that camera had one of those bright red [REC] lights ...
Seriously bullfighting has to be one of the most ridiculously dangerous anarchic sports that's somehow survived to the modern age probably only surpassed in sheer brilliance and foresight by Russian roulette and drowning.
Derren Brown Mind Reading On the Richard and Judy Show
^The situations you suggest are created by Brown. I should have mentioned in my previous post that he is a showman, and a former conman. All of the "this is a unique situation" and (if you've seen it) the Russian Roulette bit is set up. The participants are screened without their knowledge, and often groomed for weeks. What's great is that Brown is upfront about these fact. But the setup is only what creates the drama, and not what seals the deal itself--that's the NLP.
I understand the skepticism, but if you read some actual NLP literature (eg. rapport, anchoring and reframing) and try some of it for yourself, you'll get the idea pretty quickly that theses techniques are responsible for the effects you see in Brown's performance.
Tigers Prey on People
^ this is the bit at about 1:26, right?
i dunno'. it's kinda' muffled, but this happens to be one of the few things i'm unnaturally gifted at: spotting and recognizing audio-visual minutiae like this and this, sampled yells from the russian roulette scene in The Deer Hunter, and every actor who does commercial voiceover work from Jeff Bridges to Sally Kellerman.
it is a rather unique scream, in that it incorporates an almost-laughterlike part in the middle. but i've listened a dozen times now, and it doesn't sound familiar. but if i hear it again, even 20 years from now, i'll know it, and get back to you.
Roast List Refresh! - Last Call (Parody Talk Post)
I used to be on it, but that list is way too short now. Like Russian Roulette with two bullets

excerpts
`Kids, don´t try this at home. Better do this at school. Haha. No, do not copy this trick.`
`an improvised version of Russian roulette´
´everything alright? Yes, but I´ll have to go to the hospital..shit. I´m sorry. Do not copy this.´
The Unfortunate Truth about the Death Penalty
All in favour of the death penalty should volunteer to play russian roulette on TV. Then I might believe they have the courage to risk their own wrongful execution just to keep prison costs down a bit. Step up, put your money where your mouth is.
Wanna different way to reduce prison costs? Erm... maybe fund education properly, legalise marijuana, etc, retards.
Leon - Mathilda Plays Russian Roulette
She was about 13.
>> ^gwiz665:
How old was she in this one? Leon is such an awesome movie. If only Natalie Portman didn't have this restraining order on me...
More Than Friends
Oh dude, I watched this again and it's even funnier the second time around! Funny because I have absolutely no experience in fearing commitment from a hot young lady.
Wait, did I say "funny"? Well, by "funny" I meant "so fucking depressing that I'm playing Russian roulette as I type this". So if you think that's "funny" too then we're on the same page.
Yeah. Funny.
