UUUUUGHHH!
voy·eur (voi-yûr') pronunciation
n.

1. A person who derives sexual gratification from observing the naked bodies or sexual acts of others, especially from a secret vantage point.
2. An obsessive observer of sordid or sensational subjects.

Definition #2, is the most egregious of the two, because it seems to be a perfectly acceptable practice, among the so-called, "socialized" and "civilized" of the planet. Guilty. So should those be who look objectively at themselves, and the healthy response, is to keep that bullshit, mindless activity in check-

WHAT BENEFIT IS TO BE DERRIVED FROM IT? Save an askewed sense of what is entertaining, diversion, etc.

Great, more bad PR for the library. I could show this as an example of how NOT to deal with sexual activity and reporters in the Public Library!

My initial thoughts are that the library manager should never, ever have commented on this to the reporter, Carl Monday, (a known antagonist), especially since the library policy seems vague. Her attitude seemed to be to just let him continue because she was too embarrassed to confront him. Library Managers and Directors have to be truly proactive with guys like this: each and every time his behavior clearly breaks policy, they should call the police and ultimately get a no-tresspass warrant issued. (Locally we can get one on the second offense.) Then library staff calls police when the perv walks in the door. It's done all the time!

OK... upvote 'cause you got me riled up, pigeon. LOL.

i thought the masterbater person seemed alright and u know chances are noone would have noticed the goverment shud give him a pc so he can fwap off in his home. libry should filter hard core porn especaily as its like apublick libry and manny people of difrent ages will use the pcs. so seems a bit strange me that he was able to acess it. but yah lots of people have sex and do random sexual stuff in publick places. i wonder if it was a sexy teenage girl sliping herself the digit i dont think the report would go the same way. i think thay should make a law to say all reli hot sexy girls casn poke themselfs in libraries if thay want but ugly men cant that would be fair.

Oh for gods sake, MEn masturbate all the time, this poor guy has been vitimised into something sick. This guy Monday has obviously got prostate problems and can't get it up.

He tripped the guy up and buried him in his own words. No child was at any risk ... this guy just shouldn't be doing this in the library. He should be allowed to print the stuff off and go to the loo or something.

americans take themselves too seriously... bunch of bloody weirdos... anyone who doesn't worship the bible is a child molester.

I pity that poor bloke in the red top

One of Cooper's myspace friends congratulated him on his new computer. Um... maybe the dude just likes to get it on in public.

On a completely different note, I fully support that this library has no content filtering software. Federally or state-mandated filtering software is not the solution. If a library wants to implement it, fine. More power to them. Just don't get dogmatic on the libraries that actually do have their shit together, do trust their patrons, and do want to provide 21st century library services without hurdles.

Awesome. We need more reporters like that, and a bit more shame could be useful as well. He's a perv doing his perv behavior in public, he should be charged. I hope the parents get charged with assault. Look it up folks. Porn leads to a bevy of disturbing behaviors. If we don't even try to intervene, nothing will happen. Filtering software is not the solution. Policing the library is not the solution. But, dealing with crimes adequately, as they did here, is a good step in the right direction. Letting the community judge him under the law is a good step. Ignoring the problem while it festers in a community is a surefire recipe for turning your town into a cesspool.

holy shit, this clip has everything! ...maybe throw some hot ladies into the next segment, and they've got a local emmy in the bag!

favorite part is when he refers to the guy as 'the unemployed porn site user'.

(note to self; provide future children with internet access to avoid having them spank it in the library)
