Certainly looks like it, but no.
spoco2says...The first reviews of this that I saw said it was a bit 'meh', and lacked something. I can but hope that they saw an early cut that wasn't finished, or that they're just idiots.
Because I love Gillian (Brazil, 12 Monkeys, Time Bandits... so many brilliant films), and the cast is also brilliant.
Fingers well and truly crossed.

Hmmm... that's not necessarilly a good sign. Might mean that it isn't doing too well on the festival circuit, and they're re-cutting. Has anyone seen it at the various film festivals? I know it played at Toronto... Krupo?
randomizesays...I heard pretty lukewarm at tiff as well.
BreaksTheEarthsays...I had a good feeling about the movie going in but I was left a bit underwhelmed. The characters were not very well developed (forgivable for a Terry Gilliam flick) but the CGI was rather crude looking. In the end, I was not sufficiently drawn into the film to care about the characters. Oh well.
dystopianfuturetodaysays...Disappointing. Better than the 'Tideland' and 'Brothers Grimm', but that's not saying much.
