a remake of one of the most popular songs about dropping acid.ever wonder how a metal version of "white rabbit" would sound?
off their second album "refuge denied" released in 1989,this oregon based metal band SANCTUARY had a very distinctive sound.the album was fantastic but sadly the singer destroyed his voice recording this album.if you listen to the song you may see why.
lyrics:
White Rabbit - Jefferson Airplane
One pill makes you larger
And one pill makes you small
And the ones that mother gives you
Don't do anything at all
Go ask Alice
When she's ten feet tall
And if you go chasing rabbits
And you know you're going to fall
Tell 'em a hookah smoking caterpillar
Has given you the call
Call Alice
When she was just small
When men on the chessboard
Get up and tell you where to go
And you've just had some kind of mushroom
And your mind is moving slow
Go ask Alice
I think she'll know
When logic and proportion
Have fallen sloppy dead
And the White Knight is talking backwards
And the Red Queen's "off with her head!"
Remember what the dormouse said;
"Keep YOUR HEAD

ShepppardMeh.
ShepppardAnd your story is nice, but after doing a bit of research on the subject, doesn't seem to be true. The singer is actually a trained opera singer, and nowhere does it mention anything to do with his voice being destroyed after this album.
enoch@sheppard read about it during this tour that he destroyed his voice.
glad to hear it was not permanent.
but thanks for pantsing me in public.
i would link the article i read but its four fucking years old!
