deathcowI saw this whole show, this guys awesome. They asked him to model different numbers with various colors of clay and he has unique shapes for all numbers. He was asked to model specific numbers again later and made the same shapes! He sees characteristics of primes and non primes differently in those shapes. He also learns languages amazingly fast and learned icelandic in one week to a level where he could go on Icelandic TV and chat.
LadyBugthe human brain is just amazing ...
deathcowDefinitely see the entire show.

joachimhYou should also take a look at German Ruediger Gamm. He is a math savant and one of the few cases of savants who is not otherwise impaired.
Check out the video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4O0v32wpqhQ.
It's in German. He first does a "moderate" calculation by dividing 62 through 167 to the first 30 decimal places. The second example has him calculating 67 to the 33rd power. The man is fast.
RagarnokA bit of Synesthesiac isn't he?
