I've never seen nor do I know anything about the movie "A Live less Ordinary" in which this track is featured. All I know is that I love this song and the video is pretty damn cool too. :) Oh, and the NuArt theater at the end of this video- that is where I saw Kill Bill! Ah, memories...

Big upvote. I think Gondry used the walking shoes effect previously, it's an ingeniously simple filming technique. Tie strings from shoes to feet, walk backwards, then play in reverse.
