OK, I have to be the one to say it. I think Yahtzee's reviews are actually getting better. I'm a huge fan of reviews that get into the philosophy of game design. This review is almost thinky enough to be on http://actionbutton.net/

I enjoyed the game to an extent but I traded it in already for a pre-order of Homefront. While it was entertaining coming up with the skill shots, in the end it seemed just too much of a gimmick and once the game was done there seemed little need to go back and try to get the skill shots I missed.
Also the AI drove me nuts. My team seemed incapable of killing anyone on their own, and every enemy seemed to focus on me rather than whomever was the bigger threat at the time. I could let my team unload on the bad guys while I ignored them and they still came after me rather than who was trying to shoot them.
I personally would put it on a 7 or 8 out of 10... And it gets that high simply because it was amusing for the time it took to finish it.

Not a single word of hate for Games for Windows Live? Well I'll add it then.

You know when you've slept with one too many strippers and you get a surprise dosage of Chlamydia? That's what Games for Windows Live is. It's a pestulent boil on the otherwise fine, if large, ass of Bulletstorm. It even wanted me to register on XBOX live, even though I'm playing the PC game, presumably as a sex offender.

There is an UI designer that needs a serious whacking with a mouse. When I started the game for the first time, it said "Press Enter to continue" to the menu, I assumed, but when I did, I had to log into Games for Windows Live or burn in hell. So I did, found my login after some brain wracking and typed it all in. Then Games for Wünderkinds Live wanted to update. Alright, Games for Wonderbras Live, I'll play along. "Restart the game now?" But where? I was stuck back at the "Press Enter to Continue" screen in Bulletstorm, with no quit button. Oh, Pepic Can Fly, you dastardly UI Mavericks, I just have to press enter you say? "Plesae log in to Jims in Wanda Live to continue". "You cannot log in to Jims in Wanda Live right now, since it's being updated with more fucking chlamydia" Not only can I not get into the game and play, I can't get the hell out of it.

Games for Windows Live is like a mandatory online survey preventing you from accessing a nude celebrity video.

Every button press induces an internal mantra of 'Fuck off Games for Windows Live I want to play my game, Fuck off Games for Windows Live I want to play my game, Fuck off Games for Windows Live I want to play my game'.

Then when you finally do manage to get the game started you now have no time to play it. God forbid if you make the obviously INSANE mistake of binding one of your controls to the HOME key; because instead of zooming; or jumping in a taxi; or becoming the super hero you always dreamed of; or phoning in for a pit stop; you'll be greeted yet again with Games for Windows Live.

FUCK OFF Games for Windows Live I I want to play my game!

actually i have you all beat in HATE 4 games 4 windows live.
I bought street fighter IV, for FULL Price... then I deleted the uninstall folder for Games for windows live. no big deal right?
REally big deal because I can't install the new version of "games for windows live" and I can't use any game that uses "games for windows live" all because "games for windows live" has to uninstall the old version but can't because.... and just .... makes me so sad.
