I used to watch this show religiously because my school ended exactly when it came on, and I'd be home by that time.

This cartoon series followed the comic a bit more and was better plotted for the most time, the animation on the other hand really suffered, it was just plain terrible at times, passable at others and only rarely really amazing.

I found that the cartoon series had better story lines then the movies I find. Up vote for nostalgia 's sake.

Yeah, I used to watch it every day after school too, then go outside with all the neighborhood kids and run around pretending to be mutants... good times, good times.

All the episodes are posted right now on YouTube by darkrogue86. I've been watching them all week and I have to agree, there is some crappy animation, especially in the first season, it does get a little better though.
