Worst Playground Idea Ever

i've actually tried a ride similar to that one once, except this one seems to be a solid structure, the one I tried was a ring, held to the top by chains, so if you were the only one holding on to it, the whole ring would tip towards your side. It was dangerous, you could get unbelievable speed just by yourself without previous acceleration, and did I say dangerous?

This is a bit much, but all our playgrounds here have been soccer mom'd to the boring so much they're mostly empty all the time except for toddlers. All swings are under 8 ft, big slides removed for plastic curl ones, jungle gyms under 6 ft, high dives removed from the pools and deep ends reduced. Kinda sad.

aw man, we only had dog poop in our sand pits.. I remember calling it "treasure" when I found it and making little piles of it on the edge of the sandbox. Then I'd wonder who stole my treasure when I'd come back later

In my day, we had sharks in the pools, broken glass on the slides, and heroin needles in the sand pits, AND WE LIKED IT.

I recall a 'hamster wheel' style device in a playground in NZ that was about 6 feet in diameter and made of planks of hard wood...

One slip and you fucked yourself up good and hard. Good times.
