ELeesays...I know that spot. We just did a simple rappel, and simple swings. This looks fun.
This spot is outside the Federal and State parks, and climbing is allowed.

MilkmanDansays...I'm not afraid of heights, but I think doing this would scare me shitless. I've done a small amount of tower climbing (with a safety belt) for antenna repair. It took me a few minutes and massive force of will to convince my logical brain to overcome my "oh HELL no" instincts and plant my feet on the tower rung and lean back, let the safety belt catch me, and make repairs to part of an antenna that was probably 20-30 degrees past tower-vertical behind me. Trusting a rope enough to run and jump off that arch seems like a near-impossible extension of that for me...
They seemed to be enjoying themselves though, so upvote -- to each his own!
