I honestly thought that they were going to have the fight against the Lich King before the next expansion, but this is big... The whole world gets transformed into hell... I wonder if how this is going to work for people who don't get the next expansion and even for people who aren't high level... Perhaps you have go into the swirl in the middle, and from there it takes you to an alt. Azeroth, who knows...

And Playable Goblins and werewolves (worgen)?!? WIN!

I wonder though, what new classes there will be...

new "content" but still the same textures. still the same models. still the same everything. You're still going to be gathering horns from boars, scales from merlocks and picking up crap from the ground as you level. boring.

JiggaJonsonsays...

I played WoW for 3 years and decided I hated it when I was randomly getting my fishing skill up one day; cast, release, cast, release, cast, pearl whoo hoo, cast, release, 'ahhhh FUCK this game!"

There is a lot more too it than that but just as reiwan said above, it's just more of the same.

Sarzysays...

But, what reiwan said is wrong. There will be new textures, new models and other new stuff. So far each expansion has done a decent job of improving the graphics engine slightly, and offering completely new scenery and monsters to fight. As for "gathering horns from boars," -- play the latest expansion. They've clearly learned a lot in the last four years, and they've actually done a pretty good job making the quests dynamic and fun, and not just "go collect X from Y."

Draxsays...

I found the questing in WotLK To be tons more fun then the grind fest of Outlands. It was story based, and they did find ways of mixing up the usual quest system for the most part. That quest chain with the cut scene in Dragonblyte was pure awesome, if they can keep up that kind of stuff for Cataclysm then bring it.

And yeah, I'm wondering the same thing...

Player A (bought the expansion) - I don't think my mount can jump over this fiery chasm!

Player B (who didn't) - Huh?
