It's just swapping one expectation of female beauty with another. At least the glitzy ones are out having fun while the tree-changers worry about whether their coffee is organic enough.

Hope your just kidding. This is wonderful. Kids ( my daughter) are only left with slutty over makes up type dolls. it sends a negative expectation on how a girl should be dressed.

I seem to recall seeing another video on how kids (inclusive of little girls) given the choice between a Barbie and more realistically proportioned and made up doll, prefer the more realistic one.

Jeebus, I think BK33's back on his meds, that's the second post in the last week where he's reasonable and I agree with him entirely... \= |

As a 30 something male I can't say I've had much experience with dolls, so when I first saw the thumbnail for this video I was angry that someone would take a perfectly nice looking doll and make it look like that. Of course, I had no idea that the one on the left was the original and frankly can't fathom subjecting children to such a product.

Good on her for not wanting to become a manufacturer, etc. But in my opinion, the best response to this 15 minutes of fame / "going viral" would be to make a guide for other parents on her procedures, what paints etc. they need, and so on. Do it as a step by step with pictures, or make a YouTube video howto.

And that was the video I was referring to. Thank you.
