Creepers don't actually groan, that was just a zombie in the walls. The only sound creepers make is a short hiss, followed by a very large "boom"

Pardon my French, but fuck Sony!! Any video containing even the slightest hint of music is *blocked over here, thanks to SME and UMG.

There are a couple live Minecraft steams I watch from time to time. For some reason when I saw the lava I thought he would either break rule 101 (never dig under you) or accidently fall in while trying to reach out and clear the ceiling due to OCD issues. The creeper was pure awesome, I've had moments like that myself.
EDIT: Actually that is rule 1 in class 101.

I played it a bit and didn't get it. Then a buddy of mine said "Did you survive your first night?" so I played it again... I think you know the rest.

I must say I reacted in about the same way when I saw my first Zombie.

No, it isn't permadeath, but all your stuff that you are carrying drops on the ground and you respawn at your spawn point. Depending how far away from your spawn point you are, your stuff may disappear before you can make it all the way back to it.

Those monsters, called Creepers, make no sound at all until they are right up on you exploding. They scare the shit out of me every time.

The entire thing was streamed, he had at least a few viewers (number is unknown) and all of them watching most likely had the absolute SHIT scared out of them, not only by the creeper, but by the blood-curdling scream let out upon him seeing the creeper.

I seem to always lose my diamond stuff within 30 minutes of making it in absurd situations just like this.

It is his scream that makes this so full of win for me. Well that and the "renewed confidence" comment just moments before the Creeper showed up.
I came here for a good laugh before bed, but now I am thinking they are scary, and skeletons can be too when you hear their bow go off then ouch! They at least give more warning, but sometimes I hear them behind walls and can't find them so sometimes I get a little lax... and find death becomes me.

Just noticed: Look at all the diamond tools he lost.. and his armor. Fuck, that sucks. Most of it probably went straight into the lava.
