White Lightning

This is one of the best running backs I've seen coming out of high school in a long time. His name is Sam McGuffie, and he just signed with Michigan. Here's a story about him:

Incidentally, he's getting some press because he's...well...a white boy. His teammates at the U.S. Army All-American Bowl even nicknamed him "Eminem."
Tofumarsays...

Okay, first of all, it is football. It's just American football. We get to name our games whatever we want, just like you do. So get over yourself. But since some here <clears throat> clearly want to take their pickiness to a rather absurd level, I changed the tags so as to preempt any similar downvotes.

Whitey McTouchdown stays, though.

Ho, most impressive about this kid are his ankle-breaking dexterity and the speed at which he accelerates.

And this is high school, wow.

But then again there were a lot of 'deer in front of headlights' case defenders

Norsuelefanttisays...

Wow, he's fast! If he played real football he would have to dribble the ball with he's feet while running though. It's a lot more difficult you know... Still it looks incredible, especially when he leaps over defenders.

^...Jeessus christ... are all European sporting fans this low?

1st, the fact that you guys are incredibly biased and disrespectful to other sporting culture

2nd, not realizing the futility of it all, as there is no real definite answer to the argument

3rd, Usually it's always the European futbol fans (especially the English speaking ones) that are the first ones to start this kind of charade.

Seriously, you folks really show some class. I really am beginning to lose respect for European sporting culture.

Kluzsays...

Yeah, we are quite boring .
I (from Italy) apologize for all my european fellows.
You know , some of "your habits", among others we love, make us a little mad .
Like calling football a sport played 99,5% with the ball in your hands or not using the metric system...
But , you are right, it's not a good reason to be so "agressive".

Said so , man that boy is incredibly fast ,and how "legacy100" wrote, his dexterity too is amazing. He drives crazy the defenses , lol, he must be really "hated" .
I certantly upvoted.

I just saw the clip again. Man, this kid has some field vision. Daaayum!!!

It comes from quick response time and his quick judgments. I say it comes from his confidence built up from his natural athletic ability. However, when he goes to college or even perhaps pro some day his confidence level may dwindle due to raised competition level and injuries.

Hopefully he'll overcome all the challenges and maintain this level of excellence. Him doing well is a great gift to all (american) football fans.
