Seriously, though. Wes Anderson could direct a Spider-Man movie and I'd be all for it. I see no reason why a Spider-Man movie has to be a $200 million dollar global event.

Did anyone here read "Spider-Man's Tangled Web" series circa 2002? It was a series all about the various villains in Spider-Man's life. The tone of most stories combined tragedy with comedy. Like a Wes Anderson movie. Give Wes Anderson $60 million and let him adapt "Flowers for Rhino". I bet it would win a fucking oscar.

I would seriously love this movie.

I just had a Wes Anderson marathon this weekend, so this is great timing.

I'd pay $8 to see this in the theatres (which I'd never do otherwise.)
