"We're Not Gonna Take It" is a 1984 hit song by the band Twisted Sister from their album Stay Hungry. The song was first released as a single (With B-Side song You Can't Stop Rock & Roll) on April 27, 1984. The Stay Hungry album was released two weeks later, on May 10, 1984. The single made #21 on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart, making it their only Top 40 single, and the song was ranked #47 on VH1's 100 Greatest 80's Songs. (Thanks Wikipedia)

Wow, the wikipedia link says that this video led to the formation of the PMRC !?! Dee Snider is a genius ! How many millions of records less would have been sold without the 'parental advisory' sticker ?

It looks like the ending was either tacked on or poorly edited. There is no reason for the dad to suddenly be jettisoned from the house in such a fashion. It almost looks like he jettisoned himself. What it looks like even more is that the video editor ran out of time and in trying not to miss the deadline, took video footage and slapped it together in the wrong sequence.

The dad was the ROTC leader guy from Animal House. He is basically reinacting his rant about "what is that? A pledge pin? On your uniform?" scene. That is what makes this extra awesome.

Also, Dee Snider testified before the PMRC hearings and just blew them away. It was fantastic.
