A cop can do two things to a speeder. He can give him a ticket, or he can rip his ass.
Since the cop did not want to take this guy in and make him post bail or pay a fine, he ripped his ass.
Going 98mph is very very fast, so the cop did him a favor.
It is very frustrating to a cop to stop someone doing 98mph and not give him a ticket. Put yourself in his shoes.

Don't be a cop if you can't keep a cool head even if you're "frustrated", I would actually expect you to be trained for this very thing and if you had 30yrs experience, I would expect *exceedingly* proper behaviour, not the opposite.

One doesn't excuse the other. It's pretty simple. There were two violations here. The german was crazy speeding, and the cop was crazy unprofessional and discriminatory.

Turns out anal rape is an effective deterrant. Soon penalties will be given a scale:

He should be lucky because at 30 MPH over speed limit he would normally get jailed. In Virginia for example its one day per every mile over 90. 8 days jail.

Not true. You're not just going to be randomly violated for breaking the speed limit. It's going to cost you some money and maybe a day or two in jail. What is the fear involved in going to jail? Impact on career. Jail isn't actually THAT bad in America. It's prison that's bad. You don't just go to fucking prison. That's stupid.

System of greed doesn't punish at the ass rape level unless you're a fucked outcast that goes through the juvenile system, which is majorly screwed up, or you go up to prison because you truly are someone that needs to be ass raped.

When I started watching this, I thought "meh, it's not so bad" and then he clearly crossed the line with threats of sexual violence in custody. (Not that something similar hasn't been used before!)

But thinking about it again, if a cop pulled me over and called me "boy", I would be annoyed. I try to deal with the police with courtesy and as a minimum I expect that to be reciprocated. That said, I've been lucky enough that in my few dealings with police, they have all been professional and courteous, even when I was a drunken idiot teenager

My guess - redneck couldn't read well enough to work out if the rental agreement was valid so just decided threatening the guy would work ok.

The camera was in the passengers lap and the officer came up on the passenger side. On a freeway it is standard procedure to come up on the non-traffic side in case someone sideswipes the car.

I just wish I could see his badge number because he should be on write-up for that crap. It's people like him that give other DPS officers a bad reputation.

The reason why he let them go is because Reckless Driving in Texas is a misdemeanor, punishable by a fine and/or 30 days in jail plus the speeding ticket. Most officers will not bother with this if the person is foreign because they will most likely not be in the country long enough to show up for trial. If he had been a long time resident, it would be up to 200 dollars for the fine, up to 300 for the ticket (depends on location, we have some different scales in certain cities), 2 points on his license (doesn't block you from keeping it, just means that you have to pay extreme renewal fees), and the possible jail time. Anything over 10 days would be served at County, so I guess it is possible for anal violation, but I've never seen someone get more than 10 for RD.

Interesting, you immediately see it as a threat instead of a statement of fact. Short of actually visiting his jail, its hard to know.

My sister in law is law. She got pulled over doing 110. The cop was like this one--kind of let you off...then he looked in the backseat and saw the child there. "Ma'am, step out of the car, you're under arrest." It was fucking great. Point is, which one is worse in this video?
