kronosposeidonsays...I swear I've seen this, but since I'm unable to locate a dupe in my current drunken state, I will give that crucial 10th vote. And may God have mercy on my soul for not trying harder.
djsunkidsays...awesome *music! Anybody know the artist/track?
Also, I was hoping that they would superimpose a solar system over the last star.
siftbotsays...Adding video to channels (Music) - requested by djsunkid.
dbalsdonsays..."Also, I was hoping that they would superimpose a solar system over the last star."
The distance between the Sun and the Earth is known as 1AU in astronomy, so going by the numbers in the video...
Tht star has a diameter of more then 17AU.
If placed in the suns position, its outer edge would easily pass jupiters orbit(diameter: 10.4AU), and come within 1AU of Saturns orbit(diameter: 19AU)
Somebody may want to double check what i've written though.
thehelixsays...That's friggen huge!
I also loved that song.
dbalsdonsays...Oh, 2nd thoughts... here's a little visual aid, for the size of the largest star:

thepinkysays...I watched this twice and I'm thinking of watching it thrice. HOLY CRAP THAT'S A HUGE STAR!!! It's a blessing that God didn't give us full comprehension of how miniscule we are in this vast universe. Our tiny brains might have exploded.
