Although it is comedy and my critique is not meant in any serious way, I think some of those pitfalls are not about adulthood, but just being a bit too bourgeois. Vegetable spiralizers probably are not the hallmark of being an adult, but more of having too much disposable income and being part of a consumerist mindset.
