juliovega914says...The offshore size of a wave doesn't translate well to how big it is once it hits shore. You don't really look at the total height of the wave, but rather its length (wavelength). If you ever watch the deadliest catch, the waves that are able to break over the edge of the boat are tall, but they are never anywhere near as long as the wave seen in this vid.
