Tsar Bomba -- The most powerful weapon ever detonated

In 1961 the most powerful hydrogen bomb ever detonated was tested above Novaja Zemlja in the north of Russia. It was originally designed to have be equivalent to 100 Megatons of TNT, but was cut to 58 Megatons in the test to reduce the radiative fallout. It was codenamed "Ivan" by its developers, but was dubbed the Tsar in the west.

The cut off ending can be seen here.
