When I first heard they were making a Tron 2 I thought... Ha! That'll be terrible.

And then I saw that teaser trailer with the Daft Punk Music and drooled.

Now I see this and am drooling further, it looks awesome. I hope the story and feel can match the look and the sound because they look to have friggen nailed it.

This wasn't even on my radar before, but this trailer has officially made this one of my most anticipated films of 2010. *quality!

All I can say is... EFFF YEAH! The crips visuals, the simulated 2D perspectives in set cinematography, the effing awesome Daft Punk... I'd've qualityd this in an instant if not for Sarzy. Simply stunning.

it's in 3D.. urgh... I HATE 3D, it's the biggest con out there, you look like a dick wearing those glasses, they make the screen dull, 3D is annoying and distracting and the glasses give me a headache.

Um... it's not like you HAVE to go and see it in 3D. I've yet to see a movie come out in 3D that doesn't have 2D screenings of it also.

And if you're having a 'dull screen' experience then sounds like your 3D theater is crud...

Also, Avatar in 3D was fricken awesome, so I'd hardly call it a 'con'

i saw avatar in 3d.. the 3d (especially the subtitles) was highly distracting. it was much more enjoyable in 2d, a good film, but still a shockingly bad story..

3d IMO is a gimmick and actually provides nothing to enhance a film. I remember seeing Jaws 3d back in the day and thinking... meh... 20 years later I'm still thinking .... meh!

i can't even begin to tell you how excited i am to see this when it comes out.

Yea i'm the camp that refuses to see 3D movies, they look distorted, fuzzy and make my brain feel like it's throwing up inside my skull pretty much. I'm sure they will release this in regular theatres though, so i can't wait for December to roll around.

Avatar was the only 3D movie I saw. Fairly new theatre too so I'm guessing they had it done correctly. It was a neat gimick but until they allow the focus to be based on where the viewer is looking on the scene, I think its total garbage and a big waste of time.

That being said.... I really really hope this movie is great.

Does it matter who sifted first? If you did awesome, just trying to figure this out, was trying to finally get something out of queue. Thought I had this up first and not sure when dupes are called usually.

..you do know that 3D glasses aren't completely retarded looking anymore, right?

They mostly just look like sunglasses now.
