Ferrofluid is a magnetic liquid. It is composed of tiny nanoparticles of magnetic material. It flows like a liquid and attracts to a magnet.

Moving this video to ed11561's personal queue. It failed to receive enough votes to get sifted up to the front page within 2 days.

I've seen much more impressive Ferrofluid videos before but I like this one. I thought it must be way more complicated then it looks here. Thanks for revealing a little about what's actually going on with its relationship to the magnet.
