bluecliffsays...I somehow always knew that myspace was evil
mlxsays...Next somebody will tell us that del.icio.us is really putr.id
drattussays...Myspace is owned by News Corp, the enterprise run by Murdoch and responsible for FOX. Has been for quite some time though I'm not sure if it started that way or not.
You can verify that and get info on the major cross ownership and timelines of a lot of media at the following in the drop down menu. There's more to it than what's listed, cross connections between corporate board members and such, but it's a good first look at the obvious ownership issues.

supersheepsays...you might also wish to look up the facebook related conspiracy theories, since they do exist in abundance (:

BrknPhoenixsays...Wow, that was the most intense presentation for something I don't give a s**t about I've ever seen.
Bravo.
...but I still don't give a s**t.
HaricotVertsays...That was some of the most robotic and droll narration I've ever heard.
dotdudesays...*promote
siftbotsays...Promoting this video back to the front page; last published Saturday, June 30th, 2007 7:50am PDT - promote requested by dotdude.
bamdrewsays...I was expecting the narrator to say "Bueller?...Bueller?..." but unfortunately he didn't.
I'll save you 15 minutes; MySpace.com was not an internet 'startup' because employees came from the same failed spam/spyware company, and was more of a side project to copy Friendster's success by pairing their own version of that site with a relatively robust marketing department.
Thats it. Should be 2 minutes long.
