I think its just a different coloration brought out by breeding.

Looking around, I'd say it's a golden tiger. Extremely rare, with around 30 in captivity. They don't seem to be an official subspecies, but simply a case of rare recessive genes.

It's a good thing the tiger views those dogs as friends. Also, was one of those dogs a half-wolf or some kind of husky mix?
