Rock and Roll Summer! Widely hailed as one of the best ever blues guitarists from Britain, Peter Green of the original Fleetwood Mac inspired the great B. B. King to say, "He has the sweetest tone I ever heard; he was the only one who gave me the cold sweats." Oh, yea, and what Woland sez: Peter Green is a Blues-Rock GOD!

Peter Green is a Blues-Rock GOD!

Swampgirl: Lindsey and Stevie joined at the same time (they were dating at the time), a few years after Peter Green went nutso and left the band.

Peter Green was at the heart of the British Blues movement in the 60's. He's a god yes, but his career was cut short due to the same problems that haunted Sid Barret of the Pink Floyd.

And no, this was before Lindsey Buckingham came into the group. Lindsey joined the group along with his then girl-friend Stevie Nicks. They had their own album out before joining Fleetwood Mac called simply "Buckingham Nicks".

There have been more line-ups of Fleetwood Mac than I've had hot dinners! Great post!
