PlayhousePals*quality
I wish this was around when I lived across the street from a major Interstate! =o)

braschlosanThe sound at the very end was nice
EvilDeathBeeLol! Sounds like something from 50's sci fi. If I wanted a car to sound like that, I'd want it to look like that too!
xxovercastxxI hope this law is just going to be a transitional thing and that one day we might be rid of the constant noise.
zeoverlordsays...So it took them 3 years to develop something you can do on a arduino in a weekend, it just proves that cars are still truly primitive in comparison to everything else.
DeanoI don't know about anyone else but even on the very busy roads I navigate I *never* rely on sound. My eyeballs are on stalks seeking out crazy drivers because getting run over is not high on my todo list.
Thus I'm in favour of all cars eventually becoming silent which would be a major improvement in quality of life.
spawnflagger"e tron" is appropriate, because it just sounds like vehicles from the Tron movie.
deathcowI've been surprised by a dead silent prius or two backing up. The sound is only really necessary in parking lots it would seem.
ChosenOnesays...I would totally get an electric car if the sound choices were customizable.. "today I think I'll go with... TIE fighter..."
sixshotsays...Nyancat for me! Let their ears bleed... 'till the gov't intervenes and revokes the law. A quiet car makes for a quieter neighborhood. Nobody wants a car that is so loud that it wakes up the dead.
PostalBlowfishsays...I appreciate this, although I hope it's tuned to a low volume. The sound is really only needed at low speeds, and I would hope a freeway full of these things could be as quiet as possible.
