you don't even see anything, thus the 'no blood' tag. the thought is rather gruesome, but i don't think it deserves a downvote. *shrug*

i just find it particularly interesting because it happened in colorado springs.

She immediately fell to the ice and clutched at her face as blood pooled on the ice. Davison comforted her as the medical staff put her on a stretcher and took her to a local hospital. She underwent surgery that night to repair a laceration on her left cheek and nose. Her eye was not affected and nothing was broken. The pair was on their third rotation of a side-by-side camel - where one leg is parallel to the ice as they spin - when Davison began to drift toward Dubé, catching her with his skate. She has had surgery and is expected to recover."

Heh my buddy zamboni's (is that a word?) for the world arena in Colorado Springs here where that happened. He said there is nothing like having 40 ESPN camera's taping you on broadcast TV while you make eight passes over the ice just to get the blood off.
