The "R" Word Campaign PSA

"We've heard the word 'retarded' all our lives and people have the nerve to tell us they're not making fun of us..."

No, I'm not making fun of you, I'm referring to you. The stuff that comes out of my mouth afterwards, THAT'S me making fun of you.

What's next? "That's OUR word!!!"

This video was retarded.

It doesn't matter what the word used is its what sum one means when they say a word .

Instead of complaing how people use some words and words changing meaning and getting upset by it concentration on doing videos that show people that have disabilities functioning in society and help enable them to function in society. The type of people that use the word "RETARD" and mean it are not going to stop bassed of this moronic video.

Of course being retarded is a bad thing. If it wasn't a bad thing, why do parents of disabled children need to take so much money from the public tit to support their 'differently abled' children.

Blame our insufficient level of science, which isn't able to cure your children.

Also blame sentimentalism for making these parents refuse to abort retarded fetuses. Most retarded children are the choice of the parents.

It's not the word that's offensive, it's the sentiment behind the delivery. If we replace "retarded" with "differently abled" then the mean people will start to use "differently abled" as an insult, and then after a few decades society will complain that THAT is offensive, so we'll replace it with "fleep norb floon", which will in turn get picked up by the mean people, and a hundred years from now no one will be allowed to say "fleep norb floon" on the radio or TV.

All I can say is, as an actor looking to win Oscar gold, never go full fleep norb floon.
