^Because Mormonism isn't really "mainstream". It's mainstream if it's understood by the majority of the people. This "religion" is shrouded in mystery (sometimes even by its own members).

This topic of his Mormonism really should be Obama's "October surprise" moment. He's had it in his back pocket this whole time. Perhaps some SuperPac should do Obama's work for him by exposing Mormonism to the general public.
