Parts 2 and 3 went downhill story wise, part 1 was still interesting

what kind of lousy comment was that: "part 1 was still interesting "??? Part 1 was spectacular, one of the best movies of all times. It was revolutionary regarding SF movies.
Part 2 was the most expected sequel of that time.
But unfortunately it was very disappointing because of the story, and so was the third one.
Everything else in the two sequels was amazing, extraordinary, and so on...

Part 1 is hypnotic -- the only film I can put on at a party that makes everyone gradaully shut up and fixate until the end credits. Great film.
