The Kingdom - new movie's first 4 minutes

The introductory four minutes to Jason Bateman & Jamie Foxx's new movie.

The introduction is a neat little timeline, outlining the creation of Saudi Arabia and some key events since then until now.

Courtesy this site, I noticed that Yahoo has the video online.

Hit the unembeddable (for now?) Yahoo link for a higher quality vid. This one's not bad though.

Accurate or not, I love this review's subtitle, "The new film starring Jamie Foxx has no deep meaning. It just gives mayhem a stage."

This ranks among one of my all time favorite movie credit sequences. It works hard to set the stage succinctly for the ensusing dram... and it's so entertaining that you don't even notice the credits have gone by. Filmmaking at its very best.
