"The gold standard of sitcoms, I found it very similar to my own upbringing in a house of four women , who weren't necessarily old but all older than me. My mother was Dorothy of course, my sisters were Rose and Blanche and my grandmother was Sofia, which I guess leaves me with being the gay houseboy from the pilot. Some parts of my childhood probably should never be revisited, but at least I had The Golden Girls.
