In March 2010, Louis CK hosted a tribute to George Carlin for the New York Public Library where he ruminated on comedy, having a career, and what makes for a truly great stand-up. One youtuber has taken the talk and interspersed it with footage from throughout Louis' career to make a video timeline.

Louis and George remind me of each other in that they were both, IMO, very weak, run-of-the-mill comedians in the beginning of their careers and they both gradually figured out how to be masters of their craft.
