The Beatles - 'The Long and Winding Road' (live session)

The Beatles perform 'The Long and Winding Road' for a camera crew and a small group of friends. Recorded for the Get Back project of 1969, these sessions were supposed to bring the group together and get back to their roots. The song appears on Let it Be, the last Beatles album, released in 1969 (edit, 1970), and was their last #1 song in the US. This recording is from the documentary film also entitled Let it Be; http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Let_It_Be_%28film%29

Upvote because I love them.

I was necking with Carolyn on a sandy creek bed, with my bud Jack and Beanie in the back seat, the night John was killed.

When I heard that George had passed, I sat in an office with five other people, pretending I was laughing at their jokes as I dabbed the tears from my eyes.
