I'd never heard of this before either. At the same time though... what's the point? It's not so much a car as it is a merry-go-round.

I figure, especially with the speedometer there, the point is to tweak your little car to get it going as fast as possible. What other toy can you play with and get moving at over 200 mph?

I guess it's mainly for people with a need... a need for speed.

I had airplanes like this when I was a kid. I remember a SpitFire I had. Were they Testors? No! they were "Cox". The handle had strings high and low on it, and it could control the planes up/down motion as you spun. ~1978 or so.
