So here's a question O fellow Sifters: This video has already been posted here: http://www.videosift.com/video/Maki-Sure-Staring-Contest-Winner but I found this one (above).

Would this be considered a dupe? Or would you say this was a new take on it? I'm interested to see what the community thinks.

Hmmm... I suppose technically speaking it would be considered a dupe, though there was the case of this video and this one, in which it was decided that the music added enough to make it worthwhile to keep. I think the THX music adds a new dimension to this video and probably makes it worth keeping, but that's just me.

I think the sound adds a new level of humor to the video. Whereas the other one was wtf, this one is comedy.

totally agree with MGR and Sarzy: it's different with the sound. The other one was interesting, this was hilarious!
