4/3/08 Apparently, the reason why Jon Stewart can't stop laughing is that the list of names was changed between rehearsal and performance - and nobody told him.

Jock Stirrup is not a NATO officer (not directly at least)

He is the head of the British Armed Forces in his position as Chief of Defence staff in the UK as of 2006 (i think)

And his full title is 'Air Chief Marshall Sir Jock Stirrup'.
