Not impressive at all. Do it without making yourself invincible. If I turn on the cheat codes to the original Prince of Persia, I can beat it in like 10 seconds. whoopty doo.

emulator running a playback-script

This run appears to be identical to Pom's emulated (tool-assisted) speedrun hosted on Bisqwit's site (Google for it - I don't know how these sites feel about posting URLs in comments), except that the poster has omitted the intro screens that advertise the fact that the run is emulated.

One item of note is that everything in the video is technically possible within the original game engine. The pixel-perfect movement that is essentially only achievable by use of an emulator allows the runner to exploit glitches in the game's collision detection and other code that would not otherwise be possible.

this is crap. i can do it in 7 minutes tops without doin any cheating "going through enemies" mumbo jumbo. go to the other video where the two guys are racing each other. they do the exact same thing the old fashioned way.
