From his early years, if you like this I recommend buying his comedy tape "I have a Pony". Recorded around the same time as this video.

My favorite joke from that tape was, "I was chatting with a woman at a bar. She said, 'You're wearing two different colored socks.' I said 'I know, but to me they're the same because I go by thickness.'"
