winkler1says..."Here we see Steve Jobs & the almost bankrupt at the time Apple Computer making a temporary deal with Bill Gates & Microsoft. The crowd was not too happy about it."
Gates comes in via satellite @4:30.
benjeesays...What's very funny about this: Microsoft owns a large share of Apple - increasing it's market share of the PC Monopoly!
Thank god for Safari - Internet Explorer is even worse on the Apple OS (9 or X). Java on the Mac is the only distribution that is medeled with by anyone in-between development / user (but, as a Java programmer, I'm yet to find a technical problem with this system).
I'm looking forward to when Microsoft pisses Apple off with pulling Office/etc. and they retaliate with supporting Windows natively within OS-X (they already legally have the rights to the XP API, after Microsoft bought into them with the major court-case that culminated with the MS share shopping spree & development of Office).
siftbotsays...Tags changed from "apple, microsoft" to "apple, microsoft, steve jobs, bill gates" by gold star member ant.
gwiz665says...Pirates of Silicon Valley is an awesome movie... if you like what you see above, get that one. Pseudo-documentary about Microsoft and Apple Computers.

dgandhisays...Documentary evidence that for Mac fanatics:
Hatred of Gates > Reverence of Jobs
zorsays...I recommend the audio book "I Woz" by the Apple co-founder. Mac and Microsoft grew up in the same school so it is not a big surprise they might work together on some things. I don't see a problem.
TickleMyElmosays...What I've always loved about this presentation is how well the giant projected image of Bill Gates evokes the famous "1984" commercial.
