Sudan has recently declared war on South Sudan, soon after South Sudan has begun nationhood. Anne Kiguta interviews the ambassadors from both countries. Among the topics of discussion is the disputed border land that holds oil resources.

When South Sudan ceded from Sudan, it took most of the rich oil and mineral resources with it. Though the oil must flow through Sudanese pipelines, South Sudan has stemmed this flow, cutting off $$$ that the Sudanese have depended on.
