nah... shes booked in for an ethnicity bypass next week. white skined folks pay to darken their skins darker skined folks pay to lighten thier skins, the grass pays to be as green as the other side. the irony is quite deep

Being able to lighten or darken skin tone biologically isn't too far away, and the high tech, affluent segments of Asia will drive the market toward it.

The current technology... skin bleaching or, conversely, tanning... isn't very good for you, but once it's done biologically I'll encourage anybody to customize their appearance in whatever way makes them happy.

I just got back from 3 months in New Delhi, and it is amazing to see just how racially segregated the country still is. 3000 years of the caste system has done a number on Indian culture.
