Dr Pamela Stephenson - formerly a part of the comedy team on Not the Nine O Clock News alongside Rowan Atkinson, Mel Smith and Griff Rhys Jones and also married to Billy Conolly - interviews Stephen Fry using her psychotherapy skills to really dig deep and try and find out more about his past. It's done in the style of a therapy session, but far more brutal and upfront, i'm sure this isn't how it would normally go. But in the interests of good television, this is a fascinating look into the dark and genius mind of the legendary Fry.

Voyeuristic, exploitative and reprehensible.

Couldn't disagree more. This isn't some broken individual being paraded for amusement. This is Steven *freaking* Fry talking about how despite these things, his limitations, he became what he is; one of the greatest intellectuals of pop-culture in the English speaking worlds.

EDIT: Ok, watched a bit further (past the first segment), there's some shit the interviewer touches on that I can't condone in a public forum. And on reflection the very idea of a psychotherapy as a spectator sport is pretty distasteful. Objection withdrawn.
