Saltspring Island, the largest of the Southern Gulf Islands in BC is paradise on earth. Known for its beautiful forests, mild weather, delicious lamb, thriving art community, pot cultivation and smelly hippies. Saltspring is accessible by ferry from Tsawwassen terminal in Delta BC, which is notorious for multiple delays- often forcing people to sleep overnight in their cars. I love Saltspring Island, but am not overly fond of the inhabitants. This video does a decent job of depicting them.
