Scientists 'Talk' to Patient in Vegetative State

I heard this on BBC this morning, yet this video came out 2 years ago, I'm pretty sure its the exact same case they seemed to have uncovered lately. Scientists using brain scanners to talk to a man who has been in a vegetative state for 10 years. Doing studies they find that certain parts of your brain fire when imagining 'yes' or 'no' and even 'Tennis'. Showing that some coma patients are still very much conscious. Kind of scares me to be honest, I'd hate that life, and do not wish it upon anyone.
