MINKsays...love this song, can't get enough of it, i'd even upvote a paris hilton version. those chords are just... (excuse me, major spine tingling)
Thylansays...And there i was thinking this was going to drift off into the dead pile. Maybe theres hope for beautiful music here too
Given enough votes in the next 3hrs anyway...
Thylansays...1 more try. *requeue
siftbotsays...Re-queueing this video for one more try; last queued Monday, November 5th, 2007 1:47pm PST - requeue requested by submitter Thylan.
kronosposeidonsays...I think I like this version better than the original, and I really like the original a lot. The imagery and the music worked perfectly together. Hauntingly beautiful. Big upvote.
silvercordsays...Upvote for the song and for sticking your A's and E's together. Nice!
Thylansays...Way to restore my faith in the sift
jmzerosays...Personally, I find the vocal affectations so many female singers seem to use to be distracting (eg. Diana Krall, Norah Jones, the singers in this video... and most other popular female vocalist I can think of).
I like someone who just sings a song - hits notes and then holds them, without so much vocal athleticism. As an example: Stacey Kent.
This is very much just a personal taste thing - not any kind of hate or anything - but I encourage people to give Stacey a try.
