westysays...LOl so stupid ,
Hybridsays...God help any enemy force that faces the Royal Navy on a battlefield consisting of perfectly even and spread out walls and ramps.
Yogisays...Awesome teamwork and execution, love it.
Raaaghsays...WOW
RadHazGsays...Im sorry maybe I've watched to much of it to recently but the ENTIRE thing (especially the announcer) just reeks of Montey Python. I kept looking for Cleese to pop up any second...
also : "The crowd are on their feet!"
demon_ixsays...None of the sports these days do it for me. I'm waiting for Blernsball.
Raigensays...I'm not a fan of sports in any sort of way whatsoever. But that that fucking awesome to watch.
ryanbennittsays...Sigh, I remember going to watch it as a kid, memories...
gwiz665says...Alright, everybody stop. It was a perfectly good joke about sports, but now it's gone silly!
KrazyKat42says...It would have been a lot more exiting if they shot real rounds at the other team....
Opus_Moderandisays...Wasn't Stewart Gilligan Griffin in the Royal Navy? I didn't see him...
Ickstersays...That was absolutely awesome. I love these kinds of sports where it's a carefully choreographed team effort that takes constant repetition in training all for a single make-or-break run. No room for individual show-boating there.
highdileehosays...No wtf? Wtf! They swing over a 3ft high platform with scraps of outdated crap strapped to their waists. That is as much of a sport as ice dancing, in that it is well coreagraphed prancing, and full of undeserved self gratification. Kind of like the Ranger competitions, but without all the gay.

smoomansays...holy shit!
maximilliansays...>highdileeho
At 1:40 they have to construct a "high" wire and pulley system to haul hundreds of pounds of equipment and men across a 28 foot span. And they have to do it quickly. This race takes engineering, skill, choreography, and shear strength. This cannot be compared to ice dancing.
Crakesays...>> ^highdileeho:
No wtf? Wtf!(...)
>> ^maximillian:
This race takes engineering(...)
I could add it to wtf & engineering, but i kinda liked the fact that it was nicely summed up by only 3 channels.
direpicklesays...They walk funny.
hugithsays...Awesome to watch, if only for that smidgen of historical significance it inspires.
